Office 2004 Receives an Update

For those of you still using Office 2004, you will probably want to install this new update that was just released. Here is what it fixes according to the updater:

This update fixes a vulnerability that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code. For more information about this update, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base article (KB949357).

If you have Automatic updates enabled, chances are you probably have the update. If you don’t know or just want to make sure, simply go to Downloads and Updates from your Microsoft Office 2004 application’s help menu and receive the update manually.
